Practising lawyer since 1990, member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Las Palmas, José is specialised in Labour and Social Security Law, holds an International MBA from ESDEN Business School and is appointed arbitrator of the Canarian Labour Tribunal.
José is a part-time associated professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) since 1993, and he lectures in current Industrial Relations and Human Resources Degree and Law Degree. He is also permanent professor at the Aranzadi Social Forum of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria since 2007, with academic responsibility in regard to new bibliographical publications and doctrinal developments.
He is also a lecturer in the University Expert Programme in Human Resources at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; in the University Expert Programme in Business Advise at the University of the Mid-Atlantic (UNIDAM), and at the Atlantic Institute of Management Development (IDDA).
He is author of “Manual on Labour Law and Occupational Health and Safety”, published in 2004 by the Employment and Social Services Department of the Government of the Canary Islands; and publishes articles in diverse national specialised publications.
