Practicing lawyer since 1990, of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Las Palmas, specializing in Labor Law and Social Security Law. Master in Business Administration International MBA from the Business School (ESDEN) of Madrid and member of the Canarian Labor Court by appointment to perform the functions of Arbitrator.
Regarding his teaching work, he has been a part-time associate professor since 1993 in the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the ULPGC in the current Degrees of Labor Relations and HR and Law. Since 2007, he has also been a permanent professor at the Aranzadi Social Forum in Las Palmas, with academic responsibility for bibliographical and doctrinal novelties. He is also a teacher in the Expert Program in Human Resources of the ULPGC; in the Expert in Business Advice of the University of the Mid-Atlantic, and of the Institute of Management Development of the Atlantic.
He is the author of the “Manual on Labor Law and Occupational Health and Safety”, published in 2004 by the Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs of the Government of the Canary Islands; and columnist in various specialized publications at the national level.
