Graduated in Law from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and holds the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (equivalent to the English PGCE) issued by the Complutense University of Madrid.
Practising lawyer since 2001, José is specialised in Labour and Social Security Law and is a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Las Palmas.
At the same time to the free exercise of the legal profession, he has lectured at the Centre of Superior and Technical Studies of the Canary Islands, and has conducted several seminars. José Miguel also has participated at the Meetings of Labour and Social Security Law since its second edition, held annually in Gran Canaria. Conjointly, he has partaken in various Meetings held by the Canarian Association of Labour. He participates at the Aranzadi Social Forum of Las Palmas since 2017.
